Senior Riders typically enjoy two hour per week private or semi-private lessons, although some ridiers opt for the one hour schedule. The senior program has a greater emphasis on mastery of the horse. The rider learns all areas of horse care skills – safety, general and emergency horse care, barn care, show grooming, breeds and ridingstyles, basic psychology and physiology, horses in literature and art, and researching advanced horse riding opportunities. All teaching and learning is accomplished in a relaxed, hobby atmosphere with riders discovering and defining where their interests lead them. It si our goal that senior riders become competent, independent amateur riders, and ribbons ans certificates are awarded for knowledge mastered.

Ladies Riding Program This is for ladies and men that had been wanting to do this forever. People who are not interested in competition. Where it is more about the warm muzzle and the big eyes, the bond with something so honestly grounded – a friend that carries them around. The emphasis of this program is to build confidence in a very relaxed atmosphere and to have fun. No former experience is required. Since Karin works one-on-one or in very small groups, she can pick you up where you are individually and teach you at your own pace.
